My name is Jon Greenspon, and I thank you for coming over here.
First, I'd like to do something completely un-politician in style. I am going to tell you up front what I'm not going to do during this campaign. I'm not going to promise to cut taxes, or anything that CANNOT be accomplished by the President himself. I'll be happy to work with Congress, but ultimately it's their show.
Campaign promises should be made that can actually have a chance of being kept.
I will tell you - right here, right now - I WILL NOT engage in the age-old practice of "mud-slinging" the other candidates. If I can't be civil and polite, I'm not going to degrade myself into a childish display. Similarly, I would like to challenge all other candidates to the same standard.
